Educational Seminars Now Being Offered!

We are very happy to announce the beginning of our monthly educational seminar opportunities, in our Jackson Office location. Gale Sandoval N.P., will be presenting on the topics of incontinence and urologic health on September 21st, 2010 at 5:30pm. This seminar is open to the public as well as available to health care personnel. There will be valuable handouts, Q &A, and refreshments provided. We’re Moving!

This Saturday May 22nd, 2010, Pinson Urology is moving into the new permanent Jackson Location at 744 W. Michigan Avenue, Suite 300. Any of oue patients who have been seen at our Spring Arbor Rd. Location should now go to the new building on Michigan Ave. The parking lot for the professional building is behind the building and we look forward to seeing you all there beginning on the 24th of May. We are so excited to be able to provide such a wonderful facility to care for our patients.

New Educational Offering for Prostate Cancer Patients

On May 4th the AUA is offering a free webinar or web seminar for prostate cancer patients, suffering from incontinence.

Urinary incontinence, or the loss of the ability to control urination, is common in men who have had surgery or radiation for prostate cancer. For many, this post treatment obstacle is temporary; others will require additional medical treatments to improve bladder control. This program highlights the impact of incontinence after prostate cancer. Experts will focus on the behavioral medical/surgical treatment options to improve continence after prostate cancer treatment.

Coming May 24th of 2010!

We would like to announce that in the spring of 2010 Pinson Urology Center will have a new Jackson office location to better serve our patients.  Our new address will be 744 W. Michigan Ave. Jackson MI 49203.  Exact move dates to follow, we will keep you posted!

Our official Move date is May 22nd, we are very pleased to welcome patients to our new facility affective MAy 24th.

Pinson Urology at the Expo

We are proud to announce that Pinon Urology will be a participating vendor at the Jackson Community Women’s Expo on March 13th, 2010. The event will take place at the Parkside middle school gymnasium. We will have our staff available for questions, including sex therapist Linda Ohl. It is our pleasure to present our services to the community and answer any questions that you may have. We hope to see you all there.

Urology Demonstration with Vision Sciences® EndoSheath® Cystoscopy

Cystoscopy is a test to look at the inner lining of the bladder and the tube from the bladder to the outside of the body (urethra). The cystoscope is a thin, lighted viewing tool that is put into the urethra and moved into the bladder. A cystoscopy can check for stones, tumors, bleeding, and infection. Cystoscopy can see areas of the bladder and urethra that usually do not show up…
